CHALLENGE: The world’s largest make-up brand wants to be close to its target group and achieve a reach and impact in the relevant media that does justice to its claim to market leadership. Make-up as an event and show is fundamentally complicated. Consumers, retail partners, the press and influencers all need to be integrated into a complex omnichannel strategy.
APPROACH: Twice in a row, B+D conceived and realized the biggest show of Berlin Fashion Week. From corporate event design to the show, consumer activations, PR and press strategy, everything is managed and implemented from a single source. Included: a top diversity model cast and international stars such as Adriana Lima (Victoria’s Secret) and Nicole Scherzinger (Pussycat Dolls). Numerous fringe micro-events, live brand co-ops, digital extensions over several days each.
RESULTS: The omnichannel event concepts ensure a significant image boost, significantly increased sales and many hundreds of millions of contacts. Maybelline becomes “Talk of Town” and sets unique standards in the industry to this day.
